Bradley J. Sugars is a native of Australia, who founded ActionCOACH (then Action International) in Brisbane in 1993. He is regarded as the best Business Coach in the world who is largely credited with the growth of business coaching.
When Brad began Action International from a small room in his parent’s suburban home in Brisbane, business coaching was little known. After developing a series of seminars and workshops, he started helping the owners of small and medium sized business owners in the areas of time, team, money and marketing. This led to the birth of ActionCOACH, which today is the number one business and executive coaching firm in the world.
Expansion into Asia led Brad to franchise it in 1997. From this point on, the company has been on an upward swing, adding 26 countries to its list of franchisees spanning six continents.
Brad’s core philosophies are entrenched in business fundamentals that can be applied in any business or industry. This is how ActionCOACH’s established systems and tools have transcended cultural and geographic boundaries.
Brad considers himself a “serial entrepreneur” who started early in life. He leased his Christmas presents to his brothers at the age of seven and later, subcontracted his friends to do deliveries for him on a paper route at the age of 15.
As soon as he completed his accounting degree at the University of Queensland, Brad owned and operated 30 businesses, including a magazine, a pizza wholesaler, and a women’s retail store.
A regular columnist with Entrepreneur.com, he is also the highly acclaimed author of 14 business books in the “Instant Success Series,” including “The Business Coach,” “The Real Estate Coach” and “Billionaire in Training.”
He currently lives with his wife, Jen and two children in Las Vegas, Nevada.
